Fran studied photography at the Art Center College of design in Los Angeles and visual arts at Central Saint Martins in London.

After working as an art director he moved to directing, first making short films, music videos and video installations, and then commercial work. 

His cinematic yet funny and quirky style helped him to develop a pretty eclectic reel that goes from musicals, to puppets and vfx films. He has won several international awards among Cannes Lions for his Everybody Loves Boobs, Don't Fear the Finger, and Flowers for Living Men spots. And he has, as he said, go to the highest point of his career shooting with Leo Messi not one, but two times.

Most would describe him as a creative, detail-oriented and hard working director. He describes himself as a Boca Juniors fan.
