Fran was born in Argentina, but his Italian ancestors passed him his love for fine arts and pasta.
He studied photography at the Art Center College of design in Los Angeles and visual arts at Central Saint Martins in London.

After working as an art director he moved to directing, first making short films, music videos and video installations. Former member of the directing duo 1985, Fran has won several international awards among a Cannes Lion for his Everybody Loves Boobs spot.

His cinematic yet funny and quirky style helped him to develop a pretty eclectic reel that goes from musicals to puppets and vfx films.

Most would describe him as a creative, detail-oriented and hard working director. He describes himself as a Boca Juniors fan.
